MPU was in total control of the game as its players fired a total of six goals in the first half. Takeru Jim ignited the fire by scoring the opening goal to hand MPU the lead, 1-0. It did not take long for the rest of the team to join the onslaught. William Sosa and Jim took over in the next eight minutes with back to back goals to widen the gap, 4-0, while Miles Linden and Chan Seo Yeom added two more at the 14th and 19th minute marks before KNFC stopped the bleeding.

MPU tried to keep the fire burning in the second half as Ian Song scored the team’s seventh goal at the 36th minute mark. KNFC then scored its first and only goal, courtesy of Peter Quidato.

But the MPU players continued their dominance with four more goals. Andrick Poon, William Lee and Moshe Sikkel made an appearance on the scoreboard while one goal was handed to their team when KNFC scored in MPU’s goal. The final score was a lopsided 11-1.

Matansa vs Shirley’s

The Matansa Football Club notched its first win of the season after silencing the Shirley’s Football Club, 9-0.

It took a while for MFC to get into rhythm, scoring two goals “only” in the opening half. However, after loosening their legs, MFC’s players scored seven additional goals. Nolan Ngewakl and Javen Camacho punished SFC with a pair of goals each while Jerome Mettao took over with a hat-trick after sinking three consecutive goals to give his team an easy victory, 9-0.
