(NMIFA) — Due to Covid-19 pandemic concerns, the Northern Mariana Islands Football Association will be suspending all leagues and other soccer related activities including National Team Program training until further notice.

This suspension has been decided by NMIFA president Jerry Tan, the NMIFA executive committee, and the general secretariat in conjunction with recent announcements of key CNMI government agencies including the Public School System and Northern Marianas College. NMIFA will be closely monitoring the situation within the CNMI and will be complying to all directives from the government. The leadership and management of NMIFA will try to implement all preventive measures to keep all its players/athletes, coaches, administrators, volunteers, and their families as safe as possible.

NMIFA will make future announcements should any of the leagues/programs can resume their planned activities.

Should anyone like to transact any business at the NMIFA office, please call for an appointment. The office will accommodate visitors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Updates on NMIFA activities and events will be periodically posted on the organization’s official website, and Facebook account. Official notices will also be sent as usual to all club presidents and general secretaries.
