BESIDES the 16th Annual Mahi-Mahi Derby, another exciting event will be held on Dec. 12: Tasi To Table Inc. and Saipan Fishermen's Association’s "Reel in the Holidays" raffle whose grand prize is a 16-foot Morningstar boat.

Tickets are sold for $100 each and are available at 4EVER CNMI and Fishing Tackle & Sporting Goods.

Sponsored by Coral Reef Marine Center Guam, Mercury Marine, and Morningstar Boats, the boat comes with a 60 CT four-stroke Mercury Marine engine, navigation lights, Bimini top, trailer, hand-held VHF radio, life jackets and emergency flare kit.

The other raffle prizes up for grabs are from Mobil Oil Marianas, Marpac Distributors, Roil Soil Clothing, 4EVER CNMI, Fishing Tackle & Sporting Goods, and IT&E.

Each prize item holds a great value, raffle organizers said.

The Saipan Fishermen’s Association decided to hold its 16th Annual Mahi-Mahi Fishing Derby on the same day of the raffle to build more excitement among the public.

Proceeds of the raffle will benefit an ongoing eight-month program coordinated by Tasi To Table Inc. in collaboration with the CNMI Public School System. The raffle will also benefit the SFA’s mission to hold annual tournaments.

Tasi To Table and SFA would like to recognize and thank their sponsors: Coral Reef Marine Center Guam, Mercury Marine, Morningstar Boats, Advance Marine Saipan, Fishing Tackle & Sporting Goods, Marpac Distributors, Roil Soil Clothing, 4EVER CNMI, Mobil Oil Marianas, IT&E and Bank of Saipan.
