Rota library launches  Summer Reading Package to Go program

(JKPL) — On Wednesday, July 15, 2020, the Antonio C. Atalig Memorial Library, a branch library under the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library, distributed 142 summer reading packages on Rota: 41 Early Literacy packages; 55 packages to children ages six to twelve years old; 25 packages to teens, and 21 packages to adults.

In collaboration with the Rota Mayor’s Office, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, and the Northern Marianas Humanities Council’s Motheread/Fatheread Program, the Antonio C. Atalig Memorial Library distributed fun-filled 2020 Summer Reading packages to families on Rota, who were excited to pick them up at the Rota Mayor’s Office on Wednesday, July 15, 2020. 

The Antonio C. Atalig Memorial Library celebrates literacy and lifelong learning by sharing amazing books, learning activities, school supplies, and access to information through the 2020 Summer Reading Program.
