Virtual West Philippine Sea Forum on Sept.4

(NYMWPS) — In celebration of its fifth founding anniversary, the National Youth Movement for the West Philippine Sea founded and chaired by Dr. Celia Lamkin of the CNMI and Guam  invites you to a Virtual West Philippine Sea Forum with the theme “Philippines: Amidst the Rising Tension Between U.S. and China in the West Philippine Sea.”

It will be held on Friday, Sept. 4, 2020, at 4 p.m. Manila time; 6 p.m. Guam and Saipan time; and Thursday, Sept. 3, 2020, at 10 p.m. Hawaii time.

Capt. Carl O. Schuster, USN (Ret.) is the featured forum speaker.  He is a professor of diplomacy and military science at Hawaii Pacific University, a defense consultant and former director of operations at the U.S. Pacific Command's Joint Intelligence Center in Hawaii.

International panelists will also participate in the open forum which will be streamlined on the NYMWPS Facebook page  @NationalYouthMovementfortheWestPhilippinesSea.
