OPINION ǀ Truth 144: Reality Checks & I Told YOU So!

THE Truth is that our leaders continue to “apply band aid solutions to permanent injuries (problems)” of finding New Money and now AUSTERITY looms again – just like I Told You So. While I must THANK the Senators (Vice President Corina Magofna and co-sponsored by Senate Floor Leader Donald Manglona, Sens. Paul A. Manglona, Manny Gregory T. Castro, Ronnie Calvo, and Francisco Q. Cruz) & Sen. Celina R. Babauta was excused but a no-show for Jude. Thanks for doing your fiduciary duty to “protect & serve the People” by denying Mariana Eland Corp.’s effort to lease the Marianas Resort, as they already OWN too much of Our Hotel Industry anyway — GREED & Speculation buying!   But I submit the Resort is still vacant & no plan to lease and when the resolution for DPL to pursue is returning the Resort to the previous lease holder, Kan Pacific” who was bamboozled, as I even met with Ms. Cavanagh who was over the Resort trying to prevent Ralph’s “Give Away Scheme to IPI,” as he was good at — BOOSTING! But Kan Pacific may not even want the Resort after the ugly way they were treated but WE should at least TRY, as Kan Pacific a Japanese Investor, can’t say Yes if WE don’t ask. However, the REALITY is the Resort status proves “our leaders are not listening to Ambrodamus and the People end up with ZERO” AGAIN – I Told You So!

The Reality is, our Delegate sat quietly at the Governor’s office while he announced austerity when she should have been in Washington working with HER Republicans and even fighting to get the CNMI some HELP, as sitting with the Governor does TAYA for the-regular-working-folks facing austerity – for REAL! As the Reality is WE, the CNMI, needs New Money from Our-fathers-in-Washington, Investors and New Tourist but none of these revenue sources were even mentioned. They are still pushing gambling when the Saipan Casino Commissioners didn’t collect Our Money nor their own salaries, the Rota Commissioners want to get paid even if there is no casino and Rep. Ralph Yumul who is over “Gaming” seems to think it’s OK instead of fixing ALL the problems with ALL the Casino Commissions with One Elected Gaming Commission that’s going to be another I Told You So, as Time is on My Side! The Cannabis Commission has proven they are NOT a financially sound & cost beneficial while Ambrodamus has PROVED this commission could be dissolved into the Government at virtually no cost, but TAYA! Our leaders can’t even cut-cost properly by permanently stopping the WASTE of revenues. I Told You Austerity might be pending again Government Employees and now LOOK, and you can bet not a single email, letter nor call to potential new investors!

Trump is cutting all the aides to “none-white groups” with his direct assault on DEI in his effort to try and recreate a “white-America owned & run” — return of KKK. Mr. Robert H. Myers Jr. wrote a great letter about “we are indigenous” which I totally agree with except for the terminology, as the Local People are formally “Native Americans” by default of being the natives or first race of People in the NMI who became U.S. Citizens. I wrote about this over a decade ago pushing the idea of “adopting the “title” of being “Native Americans” oppose the “Indigenous Title” that has no “Formal Weight” in the Laws & Politics of America, but no one listened.  I’ve also said on more than one occasion “I pray the Local People don’t have to learn the hard-way they are NOT white” and now WE are seeing the REALITY in the Trump cuts against all groups of People-of-Color. Mr. Myers was right about the CNMI’s assistance being based on DEI politics, as Locals are politically in the same pot with the other People of Color just like I Told You So!

FYI Mr. Myers Jr. who was right again about the Delegate race, but I even WARNED that our challenge of getting aid like Kilili used to deliver may not be so much about Our Delegate’s performance, as it would be about her Republican Party refusing to DELIVER that WE can see clearly now — I Told You So. She can only “inquire” but can’t FIGHT FOR the CNMI or Trump will you-know-what to her! But Dr. Galvin can at least complain about Trump’s administration but there is really nothing either one can do, as America & her purse-($) now belongs to Trump, not the People anymore!  But the REALITY is Dr. Galvin does hold “better cards FOR the People & the CNMI’s near future,” as being an Independent with no Democrat competition while the Dems are stagging to take over in D.C. is clearly in Dr. Galvin’s & the CNMI’s favor, not our Republican Delegate. Washington is obviously on track for a “course change to Dems running the House & Senate in 2026,” and WE need to take note and face the REALITY!  WE need New & Better Leaders for Governor & Lt., Delegate Post & Legislative Branch because if WE faulter and end up following the Same-O Republicans it will be another “I Told You So” with the Same-O Taya, Begging, Borrowing & Austerity instead of creating Our Own New DELIVERABLES – for True!  WE must learn to “fend-for-ourselves”!
