THERE is often talk about the “end-of-days” in the religious community but it’s clear the Republicans in the CNMI are facing the “end-times” of their archaic dynasty or should I say “autocracy” (tyranny) as no one can say that WE the People have prospered in any way over the past two decades. Yet the Governor is grandstanding with his bid to run again even in the face of a Federal RICO Investigation and a House Investigation that will surely lead to “IMPEACHMENT” proceedings. I guess the Governor thinks he is a “Teflon Don” for REAL! But I beg to offer the true reality of the past four years as PROOF that voters would have to be really blind, deaf and dumb to re-elect a Governor who has done everything from “lying to fraud & conspiracy” against the PEOPLE! The only thing this Governor is going to get elected to is the “unit ombudsman or spokesperson” for the inmates in his unit in a Federal Prison.
I tried to warn voters the Republicans were archaic in their thinking when they were pushing the “exclusive casino deal” as I told them then that even Las Vegas had to shift to a more “family-oriented venue.” But they still rammed it down our throats and now the Torres Administration put the People LAST again as they quickly put money in the pockets of South Koreans BEFORE the People of the CNMI. Now Locals have to wait for an “archaic antiquated of manual inputting data” before getting a check. FYI readers and in fact, if I hadn’t complained about the lack of any “Local Stimulus” they still might not have done it, but it does prove the Governor is reading my Sunrise Reports.
The CNMI is so far behind the times in so many ways and WE the People can only blame the Republicans who have been in FULL control for the past two decades. The rest of the nation has been fully digitalized while the CNMI is still manually putting in data, and only now are they talking about changing the system a full-decade or more behind the rest of America. Heck, the CNMI Driver’s licenses don’t even meet the same standard as other states lacking the “bar-code” and other information on the back — people on the mainland look at my license with the weird look… To make it worse, people with disabilities are still using a “cardboard template the size of a license plate” to put in their window when the rest of the entire WORLD have the Blue Decals that hang on the mirror in your car. Yet, the Governor’s office just issued a press release on the CNMI’s Progress for the past 75 years — who do they think they are fooling with Gaslighting show?
Things haven’t changed one bit yet a certain “WE” are more concerned about “wasteful spending” that could involve tens of millions of dollars in public funds annually that has been going on for the past two decades under the Republicans. Exposing and Imposing ALL the MESS made by Republicans over the past two decades and trying to flip the pancake of responsibility on Democrats will NEVER work nor fool any voter with common sense because the past twenty-two years of failures, emergencies and austerities are ALL on the Republicans. Posing questions to the House about the PAST utility expenses of the Governor at this point in time is called “deflecting” and the Bill regarding the Governor’s, Lt. Governor’s and Senate President Housing have NOTHING to do with the illegal use of OUR money and illegal first-class tickets are just talk trying to change-the-narrative, which is what Republicans do best. They talk about something else and anything else to change the subject so stay focused and pay attention voters because WE the People have YET to get any real answers about OUR 57 million due for OUR Community Chess and the rest of the money the casino owes not to mention finishing the 2,000 rooms and bringing in tourists. Why isn’t the Governor holding the casino accountable now?
As for the Governor’s Travel, I said a long time ago that the Governor, Lt. Governor and Senate President and Speaker of the House all deserve to fly business class, so if a Democrat is elected Governor, then maybe this can be fixed, given the Republicans didn’t fix it even when THEIR own Governor was breaking the law — now that’s being arrogant and stubborn to change even when the Law is being broken. Trying to justify the Governor’s purchase of first-class tickets as being legal because no “uniform policy” was created is more hog-wash that even stinks. But the concern raised about the Governor didn’t mention a word about the first lady as there is NO DEFENSE for those personal purchases of first-class tickets for her — voters are not stupid Governor Torres. So people can try to twist things and gaslight other things to confuse voters and raise doubt but in the end the Governor broke the law and at the very lease he owes 1,000 plus the additional fair for EVERY first-class ticket he purchased which means he owes the PEOPLE over one-hundred thousand dollars (100,000) at the very least.
But the worst thing is for anyone to somehow imply the Impeachment Investigation as being a “political show” but what can they say about the Federal RICO Investigation — NOTHING because it is REAL and will lead to results. The Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, commonly referred to as the “RICO Act” or simply “RICO” has proven to be a successful tool for putting people like Governor Torres and his crew AWAY. The last governor to face a RICO Investigation took place in my prior home state of Tennessee when former Gov. Ray Blanton was sentenced to three years in prison and was fined $11,000 for extortion and conspiracy in selling liquor licenses while he was in office. So Governor, if you think you are going to get away, you have another thing coming and I’m praying along with thousands of other voters that your announcement to run again will surely speed-up the process to prevent you from perpetrating anymore of your manipulation, corruption and gaslighting shows. WE the People are quickly approaching the “end-of-times” for the Torres Administration & Republicans be it by the Feds, the House of Representatives, and the People or even ALL of the above as we say on test, as decision Day 2022, will surely be a test for voters.
