OPINION | Truth (08): The BOE Haunting & the Senate!

THE TRUTH of the matter is WE the People are witnessing a “power haunting struggle by 3  BOE members & Herman-pan to protect & serve the Commissioner,” as that is the real source of all the fuss. Readers need to know that the COE, Alfred Ada, is with Herman-pan. God knows I don’t take any pleasure in this but the People deserve to know and I’m not judging, just telling the TRUE facts, as Alfred even braggingly told me one day when Herman was visiting the school in the 1990s that he “would be the Commissioner because he had the connection — Herman.” I thought he was just talking and wishing until I found out that Alfred & Herman are actually very-close friends and he went to get his Doctorate, as it all makes crystal clear sense now.  I also have it on good authority and it’s not surprising the 3 BOE members had used all of their travel allotment and don’t want to see the favoritism end. The fuss is a lot about saving Alfred Ada’s job that is on the chopping block, but Herman stepped in to protect him which he even alluded to in his comments but he stopped short. Ralph’s emissaries are haunting BOE but just because BOE is dysfunctional that doesn’t mean the system isn’t working.

Personally, I know for a fact that Herman hates me because he was against me trying to help teachers and so was Alfred Ada who got on my case for trying to help a Kagman Teacher file a complaint against him. I even explained to Alfred that “it was my job to help all teachers as their Rep., so don’t take it personal with me” but he did, which is why I decided to retire because I had learned Alfred intended to terminate me without-cause, as PSS teachers are the only teachers in America who can be fired without-cause — pathetic thanks to Herman. But I’m praying this encourages a Legislative Resolution FOR Teachers’ Rights! I also know that Alfred is going to do everything Herman wants, which is why Alfred refused to even entertain my request for PSS to “republish my CNMI Elementary Social Studies Textbook,” as everyone loved.  I got a Senate & House Resolutions but PSS republished Don Farrell’s book and Alfred & Jackie Q. flat out refused to even consider republishing my book — biasness! Rep. Bridget Ichihara had to publish it the first time because Herman and HIS Board was blocking my efforts. I was also shut-down by Alfred for trying to “unite PSS, NMC and NMTI under a single Systemic Workforce Transition Plan” even though Mr. Orsini, who is a true public servant, was open to at least considering the plan when he was the BOE Chair. He didn’t say the “mickey-mouse comment” that was overplayed, but it seems fitting now.

Now readers know why I believe Herman has jumped back into the Education Arena using the Legislature to set the conditions to protect Alfred. The Senate needs to do an “investigation to identify the real cause of the conflict” because Herman is just using the Legislature AGAIN for his personal-intentions. I feel sorry for the members of the House who were literally FOOLED at-the-drop-of-a-hat by Herman, as they are trying to change a Public Law that has virtually existed ever since the Constitution was written and it worked fine until Herman & Crew decides to protect Alfred. I had to write this, as I’m just sick & tired of seeing Herman using the Legislature & Voters to get his way. Herman has played-people with his privilege family clout forever and he knows that most people view PSS as figuratively “untouchable and holy ground” which gave pause for commenters to the Bill other than Herman. But in fact, they did it so fast that I don’t think anyone else was even informed or sought after to make comments — acting blindly on Herman’s word.  The Speaker should have known-better, that changing a Law governing an Autonomous Entity WARRANTS a Public Hearing — duh! But Herman didn’t count on an “Ambrose Resurrection” speaking the TRUTH to everyone in the CNMI — a REAL Activist!

I will reiterate that giving the power of BOE to three people will turn BOE into a full-blown political arena because the other two members’ vote won’t matter and it will continue to be a fight, as it will happen again if and/or when the 3 from Saipan want to take-over that’s why 4 is the PERFECT number — “don’t try to fix the system when it ain’t broke because it’s some people who need to be voted OUT” — TRUE Wisdom! They are supposed to be “consensus building public servants for what & who is BEST for PSS and our children,” not fighting for power to protect the COE for favors. And PLEASE, don’t believe the “Tinian-Luta Fairness Hype” it’s a “polit-trick” — if it was so unfair, why didn’t Herman mention it when he was the BOE Chair — HELLER!  I also want to warn Dr. Galvin at NMC to be careful in dealing with Alfred because he will “TURN-ON-YOU” if things go south like he did to me.  The House was fooled acted foolishly on Herman’s word alone, when it’s BOE or voters who must solve this Power-Struggle Problem, which is why PSS is an autonomous entity in the first place to prevent outside government interference. Anyone who tries to interfere from the Legislature without supporting Law is out-of-order, for TRUE!

PS: Thanks for the Comments of TRUTH Fabian & Gabrielle!
