I AM compelled to address the dissemination of inaccurate information related to an ongoing investigation in the CNMI Department of Corrections. The publication of false facts threatens the integrity of our community and misleads our citizens who deserve nothing but the truth.
I expect all media personnel to uphold the highest level of accuracy and responsibility in verifying information before publication. The trust of the public is at stake, and it is imperative that we show restraint as reporters of the facts, ensuring that only verified and truthful details are shared with the community.
Transparency is non-negotiable in our communication with the people of the CNMI. I have always stood for openness and will continue to do so without compromise.
