I have experienced your politeness and decisions regarding our commonwealth. I’ve been observing all the past resident representatives of all political levels and their accomplishments while in office in comparison to yours for your short time in the office as our delegate now. You move things for us, and I salute you, and I feel that all your bills and related congressional documents are important to the CNMI.
First is the support for the students to have a better education, by providing them laptops and library books. Also the incoming 7th graders will receive their new laptops. I am sure that our students are advancing in information technology. I support the million-dollar-plus grant money the Public School System gets from the federal government . Last week, PSS was scheduled to receive $3.7 million. Congressman Sablan, I hope that your bill will double the amount this year. Continue to invest in our youth, their education as well as their general welfare. Our students are the foundation of local culture and our future.
The manamko’ are happy for your support in many ways. The Manamko’ can purchase wheelchair or be referred to see their doctor. They can also benefit from the federal grant of $1.4M for housing assistance. The home program has produced more than $1 million for homes for low-income families. The federal block grant to state and local governments are designed exclusively to produce affordable housing for low-income families.
Do come and visit us here at the manamko’ center at your first available opportunity. It’s always wonderful to receive as visitor our U.S. congressman, Greg Kilili Camacho Sablan, the grandson of our wise Tun Gregorio “Kilili” Sablan.
May God Bless you!
