I’m so concerned about this issue because this is a security matter. Whoever gave out this information to the media has no knowledge concerning security issue. The person who gave out this information gave persons who commit crimes a good start. The general public has no rights to know about this issue. Not all security procedures can be relayed out to the public.
Our Saipan airport is a point of entry and exit. I hope that any officials from the Commonwealth Ports Authority and its board members should look into this situation. I always think that our island is very small and things might not happen here but I realized that I will not take it for granted.
What has been published in the Tribune is a breach of security and this is a violation. Correct me if am wrong but if this situation happened in the military, you’ll be court martialed. If this happened in federal facilities you’ll be prosecuted in federal court. Lastly let’s all of us stay safe in this beautiful island of the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas.
