As a student studying at San Diego State University, I was unable to pay my respects in person at her funeral. Nevertheless, I send my prayers and respects to the Joeten family. As a 2006 Joeten Scholarship recipient, I am a beneficiary from the legacy that she has helped build that is Joeten Enterprises. Therefore, I want to thank Joeten Enterprises and family for they have truly made an impact on my life and my educational career.
