I don’t see anything funny about the issues surrounding our only public hospital which now has one doctor and two internal medicine doctors to handle incoming patients, especially those in an EMERGENCY.
While the hospital is in a serious crisis now jeopardizing the entire general well-being of the people of the commonwealth all of you are either on sick leave, or vacation! What in the world are you people doing Mr. Villagomez? Do any of you understand the seriousness in liabilities should patients DIE because there is NO medical professional treatment? Not only does your management mistreats, insults disrespects and endangers the general population in our homeland, all of you are on leave!
Why is your acting Secretary Pete Untalan on leave? Are you people intentionally running our hospital into the ground to force PRIVATIZATION Mr. Villagomez? Why are all patients being chased to seek PRIVATE doctors in the community Mr. Villagomez?
With only one doctor and two internal medicine doctors, who is handling the following:
Incoming emergency cases?
Incoming patients?
Dialysis patients?
In-patients?
Pediatrics, including inpatients?
Infants born with critical medical needs?
Who is handling follow-up for patients needing treatment for their heart, kidney, cancer, diabetes, liver?
Who is handling incoming TRAUMA patients?
Who does emergency surgeries?
What about broken bones, internal bleeding, head trauma, and all forms of emergency that require immediate surgeries?
The list goes on Mr. Villagomez. I believe the people are tired and frustrated with your excuses and we demand answers for you are responsible and accountable for CHC’s everyday operations.
It’s pointless having all those employees and staff managing our hospital if they can’t TREAT PATIENTS.
Why is the hospital still open for that matter if there are no doctors?
If these issues or questions cannot be honestly answered then I suggest you tender your RESIGNATION Mr. Villagomez.
