Nice strategy.
However, let’s not forget that if an Independent candidate won, he can always join the Democratic or Republican party before getting sworn into office. Since Democrats are the majority and Obama will win, it makes more sense for the winner (if Independent) to join Bordallo and the other Democrats.
CNMI voters are not stupid to fall for the pressure of voting for anyone just because he is a Republican.
So go ahead voters and go for who you think is best. It’s called freedom of choice. Pat hafa mon?
