In order to clarify this matter, I ask Mr. Romolor to refer to the Office of the Public Auditor’s report of the Retirement Fund during the administration of former Gov. Froilan C. Tenorio.
In this report, it will be noted that all payments (employee and employer contributions) to the Retirement Fund were paid in full and that the last current payment received was up to Feb. 1998. Moreover, it should be further noted, that during my tenure as secretary of finance, that all payments were made in a timely manner.
In closing, I ask that the record be revisited and that credit should be given where it is due.
