To the people who are suffering and tired of hearing about the same problems over and over again, here are my six issues:
1) Our gas stations are playing a game of Scrabble with their gas prices. They’re skyrocketing.
2) Our stores are playing a game of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” due to the lack of any price controls.
Now about the government:
3) Our good governor is no longer playing politics so he has decided to play Monopoly instead.
4) Some of our lawmakers are playing tong-its on who is going to get the biggest budget for their precinct. I don’t know who will win.
5) Our justice system is playing a game of “Deal or No Deal” with all the repeat offenders.
6) Our CUC, meanwhile, is busy with its own game of crack the code.
Where are all those campaign promises that they were to deliver to the people of the commonwealth? Lord, hear us. Christ, hear us. The situation is not getting any better and we are not moving forward. In my opinion we are moving upwards, though, straight to the edge of a cliff.
In closing, I will pray harder and wish that our good Lord above will drop down miraculous solutions and make our commonwealth a better place to live. God knows that nobody on Capital Hill can do it.
