Everybody is pointing at Fernandez as the culprit, but it’s clear that there is a “clique” that pulls the string to which the president reacts. So who is really and arbitrarily running the show at NMC? Even if Fernandez is replaced, as long as the “clique” remains intact, it’s disastrous.
The regents have their work cut to fine-tune the policies and procedures regarding hiring, firing and grievance to ensure transparency, fairness, and objectivity. They need to resolve these quickly to protect the credibility of NMC and the rights and interests of our students.
