You want Ramon Guerrero to run CUC again. Why do you think he didn’t win in his Senate re-election bid? Look at his track record.
Mr. Cruz, a friendly advice. If you are ever in the Philippines before crossing the railroad track you should always STOP, LOOK & LISTEN. What I am trying to say is that be careful of what you wish for. Election time is around the corner. OOPS, I mean Christmas. Sorry, my bad.
As for the governor of the CNMI, do your J.O.B. I remember when you were running for governor you stated that you were the senior accounting manager for Tan Holdings so that meant that you were good with numbers.
Look at how successful Tan Holdings is today.
But if you could give good advice on how to manage money then why is it that the government is in a cash-strapped situation?
You don’t go to the supermarket to buy $200 worth of groceries when you only have $100 to spend. Here’s a simple math equation : one minus two = deficit.
Government deficit means too many P.H.D.s — political hire demands.
Governor, the rule of employment is if they work you must pay. No work, no need to pay.
Also I wrote a letter to the editor sometime in April about the need for traffic lights at the intersection near Garapan Central Park. Still no action.
Mr. Cruz and Mr. Governor please work together — I know you can do it. In doing so keep this in mind — plenty talk, plenty problems; little talk, little problem; no talk, no problem.
I don’t mean to criticize but let’s be realistic about things. Is the CNMI going to survive another year of poor decisions and a shrinking economy?
THINK ABOUT IT.
P.S. Do know how much I love the CNMI? I named my daughter Mariana Rose G. Atalig.
