For decades now, some officials once voted into office become so out of touch with the way they see the world. They actually think the world is theirs to do whatever it takes to line up their pockets, benefit interest groups, enrich themselves while abusing their office.
These officials forget the people who voted for them.
Those who boycotted the Saipan delegation session think that because they control the House they can do whatever they want to impose their will not only on their minority partners but on the people too.
See, that’s exactly what happened to the U.S. Democrats who lost their filibuster-proof majority when they tried to ram the healthcare bill down the throats of the minority U.S. Republicans and the people. The voters had to speak out.
So who do these CNMI lawmakers think they are? Do they really think we the people agree with their ignorant decisions?
Whatever happened to the spirit of cooperation for the betterment of our people? What happened to the spirit of compromise?
It just goes to show our voters that they are responsible too for voting these politicians into office. Now they are again playing “polotics” and ignoring their oath of office.
The reason this is happening is because everybody wants to be the commander. This is straight up monkey business in action.
Wake up lawmakers! Do your job for the people who voted you into office! Stop playing the same old dirty “polotics”! Do us a favor and do your duties!
Your code of conduct and honor is in question right now. The people have the power to hold you all accountable and responsible for your actions. You are not above the law and the people are tired of the lies of monkey see monkey do.
Be honest for once in your lives!
