THE Commonwealth Utilities Corp. should be commended for its preparations for the typhoon season. Their hard work surely paid off as typhoon Chataan approached the islands. The power did not fluctuate nor did it go out at least for the Capitol Hill area.
Except for one thing. It is not a good idea to turn the water off when a threat of disaster is imminent. A lot of families do not have water reservoirs and electrical short circuits from faulty or old wirings might happen. Anyway, keep up the good work! Thank God that Chataan changed its course.
