I know that well-connected politicians will always help each other out in their greed and self-interest to maintain the broken system that is the CNMI local government.
I believe that in order to win this fight against unfairness and corruption I have to write about important matters until our corrupt officials get it in their brainy-yuks that I am here to expose their suspicious and questionable actions.
For example, when Uncle Ben came into office he explained to the people that the last administration left nothing in the general fund but then he started his hiring spree, and went on hiring more supporters to win re-election.
So of course he’s okay with lawmakers hiring “consultants” because this is what they do, these career politicians who wrecked our economy and then blame the federal government.
Our people should stop tolerating these bad practices going on in our CNMI government.
They complain we’re broke but are still hiring supporters and consultants at a time when our economy is already on life support.
People struggle and suffer while their public officials backstab each other then kiss and make up and are happily together again at last. This is what I call monkey business in action.
They will continue to milk the skinny cow that is the general fund.
