I am not a politician or a wizard and neither could I throw lightning bolts to attract the attention of our higher-ups to make them listen and do something for us working class.
But what do we get? Nada, only scratching of heads followed by a muffled voice: “It’s a long process and I doubt if we can make it work.”
Numero uno, there is no “price control” law in the CNMI but wouldn’t it be wonderful if there is one? Si, si, si, I am fully aware that for anyone to even think out loud in the legislative chamber about price control would be facing his or her doomsday. Amen.
If businesses can be told that increasing the price of commodities three times in one month is a no-no then someone should look into gasoline price increasing three or four times in a month too.
Oh well, I guess I am just being thoughtful about this BUT it surely is hitting a homerun against everyone even if you are not on the team. You know, kaput before swinging your bat at home plate.
