Did it ever occur to anyone that such a release resulted in the unlawful use of local government resources, to include manpower hours ultimately at the expense of the TAXPAYERS of the CNMI in order to appease the governor’s back problems?
What was Governor Fitial thinking? As in all other cases that I had publicly addressed, there had been excessive commutations, home furloughs vs. prison time in exchange for one’s SILENCE, coercions and so forth between correction facility officers in charge and the governor, but investigations end up ZERO or no merits.
Why? Did anyone notice who escorted the federal inmate?
Nope, it was not the U.S. Marshals, or the FBI but rather it was the governor’s son-in law Arnold Seman, the president of the governor’s indigenous Northern Marianas Descent for Self-Government/Corrections Commissioner Mrs. Dolores Sn. Aldan aka: Dolores San Nicolas and her most trusted disciple, Capt. Georgia Cabrera. All others were just following orders.
Aldan is the president of an organization who, along with the governor, challenged U.S. Public 110-229, a national security and border control issue, regarding federal control over local immigration.
Ask yourself the question: What might be the defense of the governor’s appointed attorney general, Mr. Edward Buckingham, on such unauthorized release? Especially when the federal government is securing our borders?
Finally, if U.S. Assistant Attorney Eric O’Malley and the Honorable Judge Munson are reading this editorial, I ask them to have this case thoroughly investigated and leave no stones unturned for the godfather and his mob have been quite busy defying federal authority.
