Letter to the Editor: Voices from the Pacific War

When I wrote my book, “Voices From the Pacific War: Bluejackets Remember,” my publisher at the time, Naval Institute Press, told me that my manuscript was too long.

As a result, I had to remove too many oral histories.

On top of that, with all the moving we did from California, to Saudi Arabia, and then to New Zealand, I managed to lose them.

Recently, I rediscovered them on 3.5 diskettes at my mother’s in Santa Cruz.

They have now been added to my updated Web site if any of you are interested in reading them.

Also, like most Web sites, I have links to other Web sites that are related to mine.

Take a look and if you think you have a Web site that you would like me to add, please let me know.

At the same time, if you have a Web site and feel mine would be a worthwhile link, feel free to add mine.

Any comments or suggestions on how to improve what I have are also welcome. Happy Trails…
