THE much-awaited Paskong Pinoy, the annual event of the United Filipino Organization, was held on Dec. 14, 2025, at the Marianas Business Plaza in Susupe, Saipan.
Members of the CNMI community and overseas Filipino workers participated in the whole-day event, which showcased the rich Christmas traditions of the Philippines. The festivities included games, group and individual performances, food, and non-food items from local vendors. We are very thankful to all those who attended and participated.
Among the highlights was the Philippines’ famous question-and-answer game “Kwarta o Kahon” (Cash or Box), where the winner, Mr. Ruel Nava, took home $500 in cash inside the chosen box. The raffle also featured numerous surprise gifts for children, with the grand prize of $500 awarded to a ticket holder. To add more excitement, the “Roleta Spin N Win” game gave participants the chance to win cash prizes on the spot.
This year, UFO also launched the on-the-spot Belen-making contest, with a $200 cash prize. Mr. Mark Raagas of Joeten Ace Hardware won the prize for his creative Belen display. In previous years, UFO held similar contests, including the Lantern-making contest in 2023 and the Christmas Tree contest in 2024.
