Life 101

LET me be clear. We all want a normal family life. So every day we wake up and go to work.

There is no cheating in the game of life. You either snooze or you lose. You cannot be dishonest in your line of work because cheating  is a no-no.

But just because you work in government doesn’t give you the authority to abuse your power.

What happened on Jan. 6, 2021 on Capitol Hill does not set a good example. Are we that stupid as Americans to abuse our own government and humanity?

Three or four years after my wife was taken by Oregon authorities, I was hoping to see some signs from my late grandma or my father. I was shocked when the viruses arrived to expose the world’s evil atrocities.

In my line of work as an observer and an investigative reporter of coconut news, I volunteered at U.S shelters to help destitute families. I also volunteered to deliver food boxes to Portland families. But the mayor of Portland is still ignoring the fact that state authorities took my wife.

My journalism teacher at Marianas High School once told his students, “Your job is to protect our government and our people at all costs!”

We must work together as one humanity to alleviate the suffering of struggling families and make sure we all support each other in these difficult times.

I will soon graduate from an Portland community peer group called “Cultivate Initiatives” which “provides services and support to neighbors who have been marginalized and underserved.”

In the CNMI, the Commonwealth government  abused my departed grandma and her land, no thanks to lawyers and judges who think they are above the law.

And here in Oregon, state authorities took my wife because they think they know it all.

I am a U.S. journalist because my parents were traditional healers who wanted me to abide by our family principles and the U.S. Constitution.

Everything my father told me became crystal clear the day he sent me to college with my oldest brother, Vicente, who would become a police lieutenant.

This is my story.

Sincerely,

JACK O. ROMOLOR
