SOME say there were many issues on the ballot but in reality, it’s just one — the Morality of the CNMI that must prevail over the corruption & poli-tricks. I can even agree with the AD voters who want real trusted leadership, as it’s obvious the majority of voters are against this Governor. How can so many of the Torres-Sablan voters throw the morality of the CNMI in the trash for the sake of one man?
I respect everyone’s decision but one must ask how can the GOP voters attend Mass on Sunday but accept corruption and poli-tricks on Monday. Just think: 1. The dreadful state of our economy after getting over 2-Billion from the Feds and a Billon in local funds under Torres. 2. The corruption and misuse of OUR money. 3. Ignoring the raids by the Feds & RICO Investigation. 4. The failure of the Casino that tied the CNMI to China and ran away the Japanese. 5. The Impeachment of the Governor based on evidence, not poli-tricks and the Kangaroo Trial by the Senate. 6. The State Charges against the Governor that are still pending. 7. The RICO charges that re pending just waiting for the State Court to finish with the Governor. 8. The many projects started by Torres but never finished. 9. The long delay until election season before the People started to get real stimulus relief with the only real subsidy coming during the last three months of election season and even giving away Federal stimulus money to some athletes — it was all a scheme to use Federal money to buy votes. 10. The misuse and rip-off of ARPA funds in contracts for the Torres Family. 11. The finger pointing at the House trying to manipulate the Retirees’ vote. 12. The 77-million owed to the People that the Governor nor his emissaries in the Casino Commission want to even mention nor file a lawsuit while everyone else is taking IPI to Court.
It has been one fiasco after another for the Governor’s entire term that he wants voters to believe it is the fault of Democrats, but only his voters were fooled. Voters need to note that even though the Democrat Party cannot endorse another party, the Central Executive Committee has agreed that all Democrats are urged to support the AD Team. The goal of both parties has always been to get rid of the Governor and all the ugly mess that he brings to the table. It is prudent and best for the CNMI and for all of us regular folks that Independents and Democrats to unite to overcome what has become a “Corrupt Political Machine” run by the Governor which has already been demonstrated in the pending Federal RICO case against the Governor who is alleged to be the leader of a criminal organization. This Governor has tried everything from bribing Democrats so HIS GOP could control the House to now he is allegedly getting his emissaries to offer HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of Dollars to get elected Democrats to support HIS GOP — for TRUE! He is doing everything possible to buy and steal the election but I pray for all of us he will not succeed.
IF all the People who voted for AD & the Dems will just show up one more time and continue to vote for AD the CNMI will surely be a better place to live and work come January 2023. Please get out and vote for AD as the future and integrity of the CNMI is at stake. One People One Direction for NEW & BETTER Leaders with AD!
