I AM about 6,000 miles from my birth place, the island of Saipan, and I am writing this letter to thank and give my message of appreciation to the administration of Gov. Ralph DLG Torres for the Kannat Tabla road project.
The road looks awesome. Our people in the area and visitors are now enjoying a good road.
It is a fact that the present Governor made this long-awaited project possible. He really listened to our concerns when we gathered at my residence with the other residents.
I wrote several letters to the editor about our bad road situation for many years. I am not saying that our previous governors and other elected officials from Precinct #5 had done nothing to help solve the problem.
But again, it is Gov. Ralph DLG Torres and his administration that made it happen, and they deserve credit for it. Si yu’us ma’ase.
