LET’S face it. If your motive is to get rich quick while neglecting your moral and ethical duties to your own family, friends and people then your bad karma will come back to haunt you. You will hurt your image and your reputation.
Failing to uphold your responsibilities to those who rely on you is an act of betrayal.
You will be met with skepticism by reasonable people because they are not stupid.
Why do you mislead people?
You’re no king or Mother Teresa. You’re just another human being on this planet who must fulfill your moral and ethical duty to set a good example for your people and community.
I mean, who am I to judge your line of work when I know you’ll be your own judge of your own performance?
After all, nobody’s perfect in this world we live in. We all strive and struggle to overcome challenges and meet our obligations. But disregarding our American family core values and principles is unacceptable.
To use your position and power to create more crises and chaos is to abuse the power entrusted to you by the people who voted for you to improve their well-being.
A U.S. journalist’s job is to monitor and investigate our leaders and officials to make sure they are doing well to improve their people’s lives.
They should not dismantle the tight-knit, social protective institutions that serve our communities and uplift our people from poverty.
In closing, I am concerned about our people and the core values and principles that matter to us as American citizens, so we can set a good example for the world and not become a laughingstock globally.
Sincerely,
JOAQUIN O. ROMOLOR
