Led by NMBA Community Service Committee chairman and board member Puy Macario, 22 members volunteered as they adopted the island’s sports complex for the inaugural clean up on June 19.
The volunteers included Christy Villaflor, Merlie Tolentino, Shirley Kim, Ezekiel Macario, Annarose Omori, Manatsu Omori, Kanata Omori, Vic Regis, Hapi Gabriel, Gigi Zapanta, Emily Vargas, Toshiko Obata, Rob Harrel, Loyda Ito, Angie Ito, Lucelle Lampera, Mika Lampera, Ella Lampera, Heo Insook, So Young, and Dick Guinto.
The cleanup, NMBA said, was held in preparation for the Marianas Football Cup in which the CNMI teams played with Guam’s football stars.
It was NMBA’s first community project this year.
