“GET Hapified Comedy Special,” which featured Hapi Gabriel, was the highlight of the night at Bourbon Street Bar & Café in Garapan on Thursday.
Hapi’s comedic routine, which included acrobatic dance moves, was well received by an appreciative audience.
Elmer Belgado, an electrician and a Marianas Got Talent contestant, said Hapi makes him laugh.
“He allows me to enjoy the rest of the night after a stressful day — and I leave the bar smiling,” Belgado said.
Malou Lambat, also a regular customer, said she laughs hysterically every time Hapi is on the stage.
Another customer, Bob Ferrer, said Hapi’s standup comedy makes him happy.
Bourbon Street co-owner Eden Guillo Ordas and her brother-in-law Butch opened Bourbon exactly one year ago to provide music and standup comedy to residents and tourists.
Bourbon is also known for its live band entertainment and karaoke mic nights.
“Life is too short,” Ordas said. “We work hard so let’s have fun once in a while,” she added.
