
(Press Release) — In response to continued interest from the community, Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan has extended the submission period for its ongoing art competition celebrating CNMI culture and local creativity.
Entries will now be accepted until Feb. 10, 2026, giving local artists additional time to submit original artworks that highlight the heritage, stories, and traditions of the Marianas while honoring the cultural identity of the islands.
Accepted mediums: oil paint, acrylic, watercolor, pen & ink, and charcoal
The competition is open to artists aged 16 and above. Selected works will be recognized as part of Crowne Artist 2026, with winning pieces displayed at Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan.
Prizes:
• First place: Two-night stay in a Crowne Plaza Ocean Front Suite
• Second place: Sunday Brunch for two at The Terrace
• Third Place: Lunch for two at The Terrace
Submission guidelines:
• Only one artwork per artist is allowed
• Group entries will not be accepted
• All submissions must be original and created solely by the submitting artist
• Artwork must be properly framed or mounted and ready for display
• Entries should be submitted to the front desk of Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan

Artists maintain ownership of their work. By submitting, participants grant permission for their artwork to be exhibited and photographed for promotional purposes. All artworks will be returned after the exhibition period.
Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan invites all CNMI artists to take part in this creative showcase and share their artistic interpretation of the culture and spirit of the Marianas with the community.
