“As of right now, Runway is still in its soft opening mode. Runway hasn’t had its grand opening, yet, most probably July. It’s going to be huge, we’re thinking about doing a mini-fashion show,” said Yumul.
“My wife chose the name Runway because back in the Philippines, she was a runway model herself. So the store itself emulates the fashion runway world. Also, it is because the letter ‘R’ also stands for her first letter of her name, Ronaleen,” he continued.
The fabulous outlet is located along Beach Road.
The prices of the clothing line are “extremely competitive considering the other outlets out there. We are continuously planning on special prices and sales,” said Yumul.
When asked about his view of the clothing line’s style, he says “ It’s casual wear combined with couture.”
The 2008 Liberation Day Royal Court candidates, Luciann Indalecio, Carley Laniyo, Haoting Romolor and Kaylynn Sablan took a break from their busy fundraising schedules to model an outfit from Runway.
Kaylynn Sablan dazzles passer-bys as she models Runway’s casual knee-length shoulder dress. Sablan wears it fabulously with accessories of black feathered Native American necklace and jeweled chandelier earrings.

Luciann Indalecio rocks out her outfit beneath a Flame tree beside Beach Road. She wears a jeweled encrusted Rock/Angel black tee with stripped denim skirt. Indalecio continues her rebellion wearing Runway’s accessories of black metal belt, black circle earrings, and middle high stilettos, which only demands attention.
Carley Laniyo is classic and make beige a signature of a cool breeze with her pink flowered summer blouse and a combination of a beige knee length pants and black high stilettos. She continues to define glamour with accessories of long beaded necklaces.
