SINCE it opened on Dec. 22, 2023, Chicken & Beer Restaurant in Chalan Kanoa has captured the hearts of the island’s fried chicken lovers.
Not only does it serve a variety of great-tasting chicken combos, it also provides a relaxing ambiance for anyone who wants their favorite meal served by a friendly and attentive staff.
For soccer player Cely Monteclaro and her teammates, Chicken & Beer “is the best place to go.” She said they love its perfect blend of crunchy, tender and savory fried chicken combos.
“We always come here for dinner after our soccer game,” Monteclaro said. “It always has excellent service with affordable and delicious fried chicken and other dishes.”
Regardless of how busy the restaurant is, she said they don’t wait too long for their orders.
“All of us are always satisfied, and that’s what makes us come back. Last Tuesday, we were here, and today, Thursday, we are here again,” she said.
Andrew Estepa, a Chicken & Beer crewmember, said they serve different kinds of fried chicken: crispy, spicy, sweet, mild or fiery hot, all prepared with special sauces, spices and herbs.
He said their original crunchy chicken comes in bite sizes while their flavored chicken includes the wasabi chicken, soy sauce chicken and “bul fire” chicken.
Estepa said their crispy, tasty and savory chicken can be paired with a selection of beer or cocktail drinks.
Chicken & Beer also serves flavorful hazelnut, caramel, mocha and coconut frappes.
Another customer, Alexia Zaya said, “If you’re in the mood for flavorful chicken, refreshing beer and other drinks in a relaxed setting, Chicken & Beer is worth a visit. It’s a delightful spot to satisfy your comfort food cravings and unwind after a long day.” Moreover, she said, the service is friendly and efficient.
