JKPL kicks off 2025 with exciting programs for young readers

(JKPL) — As the new year begins, the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library is thrilled to present an exciting lineup of innovative programs designed to inspire, engage, and enrich our young readers in the Children of Our Homeland (a.k.a. Children’s Library). With a wide range of activities planned, we invite you to join us on this incredible journey of learning, creativity, and fun.

Saturday Read Aloud and Craft

The Children’s Library hosts a Children’s Read Aloud and Craft every Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Join us for stories, songs and activities for children and their families every Saturday!

On Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, the Children’s Library teemed with excitement as children engaged in a lively read aloud of Eric Carle’s “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” conducted by AmeriCorps student volunteers. The children learned the importance of nutrition whilst improving their reading and comprehension skills. Join us every Saturday for our next reading adventure, and see what’s happening at your friendly Children’s Library!
