Five Northern Marianas College students were awarded “Live Your Dream” scholarships by the Soroptimist International Northern Mariana Islands Chapter on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022. A recipient must be the head of household or the main financial support of the household, who is also a full-time undergraduate student at either a college, university, or trade school, and needs financial assistance. The awardees are first place Jennifer Benavente (who received $3,000), second place Angellyn Nicolas ($1,000), third place Mollie Atinisom ($1,000), and Maritoni Duarte and Kelly Sablan who tied for fourth place and received $1,000 each. The top three also received $500 each from the Rotary Club of Saipan.
