This is the famous Papi Chulo from Lone Fox.
AS Lone Fox Saipan celebrates its first year of operation this week, owner-operator Troy Santos attributes the success of the cocktail bar to his team’s ability to show customers a good, unique time.
“I always thought [Saipan] needed a place offering different varieties of food, showcasing culinary art skills and cocktails that have not only an experience to them but also a profound flavor profile no other bar offers,” Santos said, adding: “Our hospitality speaks a lot. I’m sure our guests are appreciative of great service.”
The dinner menu at Lone Fox is a favorite of young professionals, and features entrées like the beef shank pappardelle and seared scallops.
Santos offers a wide variety of drinks as well, with cocktails like the Papi Chulo, made with tequila blanco, local hot peppers, and hibiscus and other ingredients, and an ube-vanilla vodka cocktail topped with matcha sweet cream.
Next year, Santos and crew aims to experiment with even more flavors. Their most recent expansion has been to offer a VIP dining area called “The Fox Hole” which features a personal mixologist for its patrons.
They have also begun to offer a lunch hour for customers on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Santos said he is currently working to add a live music event to formally celebrate the bar’s first anniversary, but he hasn’t nailed down a date just yet.
“We have a fun time hosting events, bringing in live music and supporting talent when it comes our way!” Santos says. “We hope to keep giving an exciting experience to everyone that comes in our doors.”
