Jessica Arizala says the day is for families to recognize the “good stuff their fathers have done for their family.”
“A father’s duty is to be the leader of his household,” she said.
Sablan says that “A father’s duty is to be a role model to his children.”
“My plan is to spend the whole day with my family, maybe have a barbeque for dad,” she says. “Of course, father’s day will be different when I leave for college. I won’t be there to spend the day with my dad and my family next year,” she added.
Arizala says they will probably have the same outing as Sablan.
“Yeah, I think as we leave for college we tend to realize the good stuff the dads have done for us, and that is what we will miss,” she said.
