Governor Ralph DLG Torres on Wednesday signed a proclamation designating May 1-7, 2022 as CNMI Correctional Officers and Employees Week. “I call upon all citizens to recognize the contributions made and honor the work of correctional officers and employees, and to pay special tribute to these men and women who have and continue to serve the CNMI faithfully over the years to help create a more peaceful community,” the governor said.
A proclamation signed by Gov. Ralph DLG Torres on Wednesday at the manamko’ center designates May as Older Americans Month. The CNMI, he said, “recognizes our need to create a community that provides the services and supports older Americans’ need to thrive and live independently for as long as possible….”
