THE Profound Bandits led by founder Jereon “Jiro” Montenejo staged a “legacy” farewell concert at the multi-purpose center on May 20.
“I wanted to have this powerful ending for our group and motivate other young individuals to join the dance community,” he said. “The Profound Bandits’ motto is to ‘Have Faith and Trust,’ which means to have faith in whatever we do and to trust the process from God,” he added.
“Bandits come and go but the memories stay forever,” he said.
The “Profound Set” was the concert’s final segment, and it highlighted the six years of the Profound Bandits.
The other performers were Nathan Palacios, Studio 29:11, Saipan Music & Dance Studio, singer Shane Sabino, Simon the Juggler and Marianas High School’s Rhythm ‘N Harmony.
In a statement, the Profound Bandits thanked Montenejo who organized and worked behind the scenes of the concert.
The Profound Bandits would also like to thank their sponsors: Tribe Marianas, From The Temple Originals, Graphics, Ete Cafe, Mango Six Cafe, and TBAR CNMI.
