These are just a few things that are now popular in the teenage fashion world today. Teenagers love to observe others as they walk on by, most likely wearing the latest fashion.
Girls’ Fashion
Bell-bottom jeans were popular back then, until skinny jean bottoms rose from the dead. Marianas High School student Maria Reyes says, “I like wearing skinny jeans because they look good and other girls wear it too.”
Plaid blouses are popular for one main reason, they look good. “It’s better than wearing a blouse with vertical lines to make you look taller or wearing a shirt with horizontal lines to make you look like you weigh a little more. Plaid tops seem to make girls’ upper body proportionate,” says CheyAnne Humphries.
Gladiator slippers mostly come in the colors of silver, gold, and white.
They are most commonly worn with shorts because they seem to make a perfect match. “They feel comfortable and don’t feel loose compared to flip flops,” says Gederryn Domingo.
Boys’ Fashion
Boys like wearing hats and they match their clothes along with it too. The popular brands are NY and Fox Racin’. Heartim William says, “I wear hats when I’m late, when it’s hot outside, and when I go out.”
Boys and Girls’ Fashion
High top shoes, known as “kicks,” are in high demand today. Teens wanting high top shoes are just like how we wanted shoes with roller skates when we were kids.
These shoes come in a variety of color and differ in brands. There are brands such as Nike, Pastry, Ecko, etc. They come in colors such as pink, purple, black, white, blue, yellow, red, and so much more.
Both girls and boys enjoy wearing these shoes. They look fashionable and go with anything you wear.
These are just a few of the latest styles that teens wear today. Other styles include jackets, long socks, bags, and purses.
Teenagers dress to impress. It’s their way of telling people who they are and what they like. It could also be simply because they just find it comfortable.
Teens have also inspired younger children to wear high top shoes or wear plaid outfits. Who knows, the fashion today may last a little while longer.
