The Friends of the Arts presents an evening of O. Henry’s short stories

(FOA) — The Friends of the Arts proudly announces its upcoming theatrical showcase featuring three beloved classics by renowned American author O. Henry: The Last Leaf, A Thousand Dollars, and The Gift of the Magi. Known for his wit, emotional depth, and famous twist endings, O. Henry’s stories continue to capture audiences of all ages.

This special production brings three iconic short stories to the stage in one unforgettable evening. Audiences will experience the touching sacrifice at the heart of The Last Leaf, the surprising generosity within A Thousand Dollars, and the timeless love story of The Gift of the Magi. Together, these pieces celebrate the themes of kindness, devotion, and the unexpected beauty found in everyday life.

There will also be a special appearance by the MHS Chorale and a Christmas singalong.

Ticket Prices: Admission is a voluntary donation to support classical pianist Roman Rudnytski’s annual concert series in our schools in March 2026.
