Nowadays, many women are leaders when it takes a lot of courage to be one.
Veisinia Peteru is one of them.
Many of us want to be a leader to have power, and never mind the leader’s many responsibilities.
But for Ms. Peteru, who is a Christian, leadership is about setting a great example, and doing the right thing. She believes that leadership must inspire others to lead a good life.
Currently, Ms. Peteru is a team leader for a research company. She works at an office but she goes out daily to make sure that their interviewers are doing okay.
As a team leader she often doesn’t go to sleep until 11 p.m. She has to ensure that the day’s work has been done.
She provides encouragement and motivation to her team members, and she boosts their confidence by commending them for a job well done.
Since 2009, Ms. Peteru has also been an outreach coordinator for the Empty Vessel Ministry, a charitable organization that provides assistance to those who need help.
