Ignacio Dela Cruz of Marianas High School and Allyssa Arangorin of Kagman High School were both selected by the Junior Statesmen Foundation to receive a full ride scholarship to attend one of the JSA Summer School Programs.
Allyssa will attend the Stanford Summer School Program, while Ignacio will attend the Princeton Summer School Program.
The new scholarships were made possible because of Education Commissioner Rita Sablan. She agreed to fund two scholarships when two JSF staff members visited the CNMI in February.
Missing dogs found
(PAWS) — PAWS is happy to report that the two dogs that were missing from a home in Pagapo have been found — more like they returned home from a hunting trip!
Thank you for all of your efforts to find these animals. PAWS received numerous calls reporting various dogs —this means that our bulletin reached the community and that the community actively participated in efforts to find these animals.
