If you would like to volunteer your time to clean and beautify the island, fill out the registration form which can be downloaded from http://www.deq.gov.mp/ or beautifycnmi.org and fax it in to Rachel Zuercher of Coastal Resources Management at 664-8315. Volunteers will start cleaning for about two hours or when finished and then break for drinks and continue if needed.
This is a cleanup that should not be missed.
“Let us work together for the health of our coral reefs and cleanliness of our beaches for everyone to enjoy,” DEQ said.
The DEQ cleanup brigade began in 1996 and continues to maintain clean, healthy beaches.
