Last May 21, twenty pupils completed the Kinder 5 program; 18 in Kinder 3 under Myrna G. Medina; and six in GMS Dandan under Ms. Elsa Usman.
All shared about what they want to be in the future. Joshua Alfred, the class valedictorian, wants to become an astronaut while salutatorian Radge Palma wants to be a scientist.
The 7th Commencement Exercises of Green Meadow School was honored by the presence of former Gov. Juan N. Babauta.
He shared his words of wisdom about successes and setbacks. Parents were in high spirits as they witness their children receive their diplomas.
Public forum on Tinian
THIS is to inform the general public of Tinian that there will be a public forum on Saturday, June 12, in the Tinian Elementary School cafeteria regarding the Guam-Tinian military buildup.
Guam’s Hope Cristobal and Dr. Victoria Leon Guerrero will be among the guest speakers.
The forum will start at 12 noon and end at 2 p.m. “Please arrive early as our fellow sisters from Guam will be departing soon after,” organizers said.

MHS senior awards ceremony
(MHS) — Marianas High School will hold its senior awards ceremony today, Friday, June 11, at 9:30 a.m. at the MHS gymnasium. Parents and legal guardians of graduating seniors are encouraged to attend.
MHS will hold its 2010 commencement exercises on Monday, June 14, at 4 p.m., at the MHS gym. In order to prepare for this event, all students will be released at 12 noon.
