Share your thoughts

The committee is collecting the input through an online survey that can be accessed from the NMC website at www.nmcnet.edu.The survey also asks what personal values and goals the next president should bring to the position, as well as the two most important priorities that the new president should address immediately.

All community members are encouraged to share their thoughts by filling out the short survey.

The results of the survey will be used to provide some guidelines for the  committee in formulating questions for the prospective presidential candidates. Friday Night Market

(Kagman Komunidat Association) — Puengin Inetnon will be held Friday, July 30, in the Kagman Community Center parking lot. Puengin Inetnon is Kagman’s Friday Night Market that takes place every government payday.

It begins at 5 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m. Vendors will be selling food and drinks. Alcohol is prohibited from the event.

Green flag on Rota

(DEQ) — The Division of Environmental Quality has analyzed samples collected from Rota’s recreational beaches and storm water drainages as part of its regularly scheduled sampling.

None of the samples collected contained excessive concentrations of fecal indicator bacteria nor did they exceed the CNMI’s marine water quality standards.

DEQ assigns all of the sampled beach sites a green flag.
