Project Impact is a group of young people who want to encourage the rest of the young people on island to engage in dancing as a healthy and worthwhile activity.
Event organizer Sharmain Casquero said the variety show will start at 8:30 p.m.
Carrying the theme “Say no to drugs, just get up and dance,” Casquero said the event is to mark the fifth year anniversary of the Project Impact dance group which was organized by choreographer Marlon Francisco in 1995.
She said the small group of young dancers learned the latest techniques of techno dance, hip hop, and break dancing very quickly.
Casquero said the guests will be entertained by the fluid dance moves and superb performances of the Project Impact dance crew.
Also performing are other youth dance groups: Paper Dolls, Rock-A-Beat King dancers, the L.O.S.T. Squad dance crew, and Casquero’s Fabulous Diva performers.
Casquero said part of the proceeds from the event will go to the Division of Youth Services.
“We are asking the community to please support this event because this is for the young people,” Casquero added.
Tickets are $10 each, inclusive of one drink and are available at GIG Discotheque in Garapan. For more information, call Ester Sablan or Casquero at 233-2643.
