“For example the value of the item you pawned was for $150 and you decide to pay an installment of $50 on the next month. It means that the interest for the second month will be computed based on the remaining balance of $100,” Villaraza said.
Villaroyal Pawnshops usually hold the pawned items for about three months.
“We want to give our customers the best chance they can have to redeem their items at a low interest, but if they fail to redeem it, we give them first priority to buy back the items,” Villaraza said.
Villaroyal Pawnshop offers discounts in their interest rates on important occasions such as Valentines, Mother’s Day and other special events.
She said they had just concluded their Valentine promo but customers can wait for updates about promotions for the approaching Mother’s Day in May.
