According to police report, at around 10 a.m. on Sept 24, Andy Ngirkelau called the police and asked for assistance after unidentified suspects entered the Law Rainbow Happy Tour located at the apartment building and stole the money.
Police immediately responded and conducted an investigation.
Initial investigation disclosed that according to Mr. Huang Kun Shedu, Chinese national and manager of the company, he left the office at 2 a.m. and the $ 10,000 inside the cabinet was indeed secured. However when he entered to the office at 9:30 a.m. Huang discovered that the cabinet was forcibly open by using hard object and then the money was stolen.
No suspects have been identified. The case is under investigation.
Meanwhile, more than $900 worth of assorted items were found missing after unidentified suspects ransacked the Chinese store in Dngeronger hamlet, Koror State on Sept. 25.
According to Mr. Cao Hai Shan, Chinese national that unknown suspects entered the Hi Young Store and carted away various items including money. The missing items include bags, accessories, clothes, pillows, perfume, lighter, betel nut, knife and sodas with a total amount of $976.
Initial investigation also disclosed that the suspects entered the building by destroying the back door and carted away the said items.
The case is ongoing police investigation.
